The model making group is in the final stages of making the model of how Jordan’s Dam will look with the Archimedes screw in place. The contours and new concrete channel are all in place and the first coat of paint is on the ‘grass’. We had some debate about what colour to paint the ‘river’, as although the river Don can be brown (or even dark green) at times, we felt we needed it to be blue-ish so that those viewing the model will easily identify the river.
