The last 18 months have been a very busy time for us, working on a new focus for Sheffield Renewables following our decision that Jordans Dam hydro was no longer viable. It has been a lot of hard work but we are now generating electricity at Paces Campus in High Green and are hoping to start installation of our second scheme imminently.
We would like to celebrate our achievements with everyone who has helped us along this journey. We are also starting to plan what the future direction of Sheffield Renewables should be and would like our supporters and investors to share their views on this.
To that end, we are holding a volunteer social this Tuesday, 19th August, from 7.30pm in the Rutland Arms pub, 86 Brown Street, Sheffield, S1 2BS. We will also be using this opportunity to let people know more about what we’re doing now and upcoming opportunities for getting involved.
Everyone is welcome, whether you’ve been involved with us since the beginning or have only just come across our organisation and would like to find out more. Please share this invitation with anyone that you think would be interested in coming along.
We hope to see you there!
