Great news on the Jordan Dam project with Yorkshire Water putting their support in principle behind the scheme. As site owners, this is an important step towards making the scheme happen.

Rob Pilling, Managing Director of Sheffield Renewables said “This is great news, demonstrating Yorkshire Water’s confidence in our plan and ability to deliver it. Their confidence is a reflection of all the effort we have put in up to now, including technical, communications, business development and funding.”

There is still a lot to do, including agreeing the details with Yorkshire Water, but we can now start working with them towards a formal lease. Elsewhere final touches are being made to the planning and abstraction licence applications and we hope to submit them soon.
